WHAT IS CANCER?
Cancer Cancer is not a single disease with a single cause or cure. Cancer is the result if the cells divide uncontrollably and other tissues near invade the body. Cancer spreads through the body via blood or clear fluid that circulates through the lymphatic system and carries cells that help fight infections and other diseases. 1. Carcinoma: Carcinoma is a cancer that begins in the skin or tissues that line or cover internal organs. 2. Sarcoma: Sarcoma is a cancer that in bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, or other connective tissues begins. 3. Leukemia: Leukemia is a cancer that starts in the blood to tissues such as the bone marrow and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells that then enter the bloodstream. 4. The Lymphoma and Myeloma: Lymphoma and myeloma are cancers that begin in cells that make the immune system. The body is composed of different types of cells.
